anyone help with this one please ? I have 2 PCs which I’ve used (or attempted to use) my MOXF with - my main gaming PC and a HP Microserver both running Windows 10 Pro both have the Yamaha/Steinberg USB driver installed Gaming PC - all good - midi works HP Microserver - just can’t get midi to work at all - if I open up something like Pianoteq it just can’t see the MOXF for midi the odd thing is ... USB audio is working fine - the Yamaha driver detects the keyboard and I’m looping audio from PC back to Yamaha with no issue - but midi is just not working if I unplug the MOXF and plug it into the Gaming PC - works straight off - so not a setting on the MOXF any ideas please ? |

just a quick update ! solved the problem after weeks of faffing it was because I was remote desktop’ing into the HP Microserver that the midi wouldn’t work !! I didn’t have a 2nd monitor - so was using my Android tablet as a “screen” via remote desktop I had no idea it would influence the midi signal route |
