Hi. I am a long time user of S90 ES, and although I love the piano and electric piano sounds, I always felt that the preset synth sounds and using the cutoff filter kind of digital sounding, or not sweet enough. I have a Waldorf Blofeld, and although it’s not as versatile as the S90, it has a more gritty or dirty digital sound. So are there any bank that I can buy or try other presets synth sounds for pads and leads? Thanks. |

Hi! Welcome to Motifator! How about the PLG-150AN? :-) On the spec. sheet it says that the S90 ES has “3 Slots for Modular Synthesis Plug-in Boards”. Also see here: http://download.yamaha.com/api/asset/file/?language=en&site=usa.yamaha.com&asset_id=51063 Then, you could also have FM and VL synthesis, etc with other plug-in boards. Hope this helps! -Max |

Hi Max. Thanks for the suggestions, yes very useful. I already read some reviews on PLG but not very exciting about it. However I will try the Easy Sounds banks and Super Poly, these are the kind of banks I was imagining.
Thanks,

You’re very welcome! Also, you could just do a general Google search for “Analog Sound Library for the Yamaha S90ES”, or similar. -Max |
