Trying to figure out haw to save my song seq as a midi seq and bring it to my computer to convert to sheet music. I can do the conversion to sheet music fine . i just cant seem to figure out how to get my song seq out of my MOXF8 as a midi seq.

To save a Song as a Standard MIDI File (SMF), Format/Type 0, with the extension .MID…
Connect a USB flash drive to the “TO DEVICE” port
Press [FILE]
Press [F2] (SAVE)
Select TYPE = SMF
Cursor down, name the file
Press [SF1] (EXEC)
Select the Song
Press [SF1] (EXEC)

See page 155 of the MOXF Reference Manual.

did that up to cursor to file. do i need to convert it first to midi seq?
