Hi all,

Couldn’t find a thread about this..... so here is my question.

I’m looking to use song/mixer mode for a live setup and want to use a foot pedal (switch) to change between mixer tracks as I want to change to a different layer of sounds.

So what I’m trying to do is use the pedal to change what mixer track is selected to play.

Is this possible?

Although about the XS, it applies to the XF as well.

Another solution would be to use XA Control (AF Buttons) to switch layer/splits via a foot switch. This is very time-consuming to program but it works:

- set your assignable foot switch to trigger one of the AF buttons (MIDI cc086/087)

- program all Voice Elements of all Voices used in your “first” split/layer to be active by default ("all AF off")

- program all Voice Elements of all Voices used in your “second” split/layer to be active with AF1/2 pressed ("AF1/2 on")
