Recently i started to have a problem with sustain in my MOTIF XS. Sometimes when I’m playing, the sustain function activates without pressing the pedal. I have to take off the cable of pedal to stop the sustain. When I return to connect the pedal cable the sustain don’t works. Note: Already changed pedal and the problem keeps.
Anyone ever had this problem or know what it is?
Thank you for your help.

If the second pedal you tried is known to be good and of proper polarity (normally closed), then there may be a broken solder joint at the sustain jack.

Ah, ‘thought-controlled’ sustain. We’re not in April yet, are we?

5PinDin seems to have a good idea to try.
