Hello Im in the learning curve with mine 1 week old motif and have a quest regarding arp in pattern mode. I have recorded a performance in pattern mode and are in the process of filling up with sounds on the other tracks (5-16) Is there a smooth way to put an arp on voice in pattern mode or has this to been done in the voice mode, it would be kind of nice if your in pattern mode could rehearse a voice with different arps, is this possible ? /Jack |

From Pattern mode, press [MIXING] > [EDIT]
STORE to keep choices. Note that only four Arps can be active simultaneously. If four are already active, turn one off to turn another on. EDIT: I was typing while Jas65 posted. |

Did you turn “Hold” off also? |

If an Arp was turned on when you recorded the Performance, then the MIDI data recorded by the sequencer will include the direct notes that you played, and the sorted ones the arpeggiator played. The arpeggiated note data will be sequenced when the Pattern is played back, no matter if you turn off the Arp that originally produced it. Is that what you’re referring to? --------------

You’re welcome. Arp operation can be complicated. The support articles I provided links to should help, but of course please post again if you have further questions. |
