Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum but this website has been a great resource for me over the years for sounds and info for my Motif 8 and 6 Classics.
I hope someone can help me with recommendations for a great piano sample for my new to me ES-7.
I have listened to the piano1 and signature demos from k-sounds they seem good but kinda distant maybe it is my monitors.
I would ideally like a present sample with the least disconnect, adjustable or minimal room ambiance.
I also hear mention of a s-700 sample that is very popular.I cannot find any info on the s700 for es on the net unfortunately. Can someone enlighten me?
I have installed 512mb of ram so far…

Welcome to the forum.

In particular, the second post by aarryn might be interesting.

X4219B0R is apparently still available from
https://www.yamaha24x7.com/YamahaOMS/EasyOrder/QuickOrder.aspx

X4219B0R   CD ROM SL 74MIN MOTIF ES6   6.86

At $6.86 (US, plus shipping), that’s apparently only 20 cents more than the price as posted in the linked thread in 2009.

This thread is also interesting…

...although getting the Loyalty CD might be difficult at this time

You’re welcome.

I edited the post a bit. Unfortunately, I don’t have any more information about availability of the Loyalty CD.

I ordered the es Cd from yamaha and will start my quest off with that before moving on to try k sounds or perhaps bolder.
You are right, that loyalty cd is probably not gonna happen for me 11 years late…
Thanks again

Follow up...Just got the ES Cd from Yamaha 24x7 and have to say I love the s700 3-layer piano so far.It isn’t perfect but it fits my playing style well, and cant beat it for the price.Cost just 15 bucks including shipping.I am sure many of the other patches on the CD will be useful as well.
