Hello, is Moxf reading syx data? (if yes, how configure that) I recording moxf -> to PC, all ok and notes recorded to daw(Reaper) and also arp ON syx (F0 43 10 7F 1C 01 30 30 04 01 F7 ) and arp OFF syx (F0 43 10 7F 1C 01 30 30 04 00 F7) . Now if I start Reaper.. Moxf just play notes back but not starting arp button. How make Moxf response to (arp ON OFF) syx data? thanks.

The correct SysEx message depends on the mode.

Which mode? Normal Voice, Performance, Song/Pattern, Drum Voice?

If for Performance mode (you had one byte incorrect)…

F0 43 10 7F 1C 00 30 30 04 01 F7 Arp ON

F0 43 10 7F 1C 00 30 30 04 00 F7 Arp Off

Is MIDI sync set to external?

Check this under UTILITY [F5] MIDI > Sync

... but interesting, why my Reaper receives all syx operations from Moxf6 with that 01 bite, not 00 . If I manually changes 01 to 00 and send syx data back to moxf, then all working. If many syx changes, then manually not too good:)

Port 4 is for the Yamaha Editor. What is happening is normal. See these, although not about the MOXF:
http://www.motifator.com/index.php/forum/viewthread/451305/
http://www.motifator.com/index.php/forum/viewthread/469807/
http://www.motifator.com/index.php/forum/viewthread/473406/

You can continue to use Port 4, but you will have to change the Model ID byte in the SysEx.

Or, you can create SysEx messages yourself. See page 121 of the MOXF Data List, (3-6-3-1) NATIVE PARAMETER CHANGE, MODE CHANGE. For device number 1,
n = 0. The address and data bytes are in the tables beginning on page 125.

If you don’t have the MOXF6/MOXF8 Data List, you can get it here:
