I upgraded my firmware in my Motif XF6 to1.50.4, and now it won’t connect to the editor (v.1.6.3). I get a Firmware Error message in the editor when I try to connect it to the synth.
Any suggestions?
Should I try reinstalling the OS? Everything else appears to be fine with the instrument beyond this issue.

I’m running the same OS version on my own XF6, but using version 1.6.4 of the Editor, standalone, via USB, on a Windows machine with XP Pro SP3 (which isn’t even listed as being supported). I’m having no such problem.

Your member profile provides no details of your computer system. What computer/OS are you using? Are you running the Editor Standalone or VST? DAW and version? USB or FW?

2.5 GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Yosemite 10.1.3
Digital Performer 8
I run the editor in stand alone mode via usb.

I missed the download link for the Edotir v 1.6.5.
I’m sure that’ll probably fix things.
