I loop remixed a track and a couple days later though I would like the original in the beginning of the verse and the remixed one 8 bars in. I thought that the remix would make a different patch, but looks to have overwritten the original. besides replaying the original, is there any way to get the original back? thanks, Hydro |

Did you do a Real Time Loop Remix of MIDI data? If so, you’re probably in luck.
About ES, but should apply:
Download the zip file and read the included PDF:

I actually was using pattern. then went to the loop remix tab and added a roll. but the next day when I turned on the XS it was not shown as being saved as a different patch. I did move the tracks around, but it seems strange that it would be lost as per the link you added about when its not audio its not destructive. I’m going to look at it again when I get home to see if I can find the patch. but it looks to be gone. |

That shouldn’t happen. You might want to try again on something you don’t care about (make a copy of a Pattern?). If you can duplicate the problem, it should probably be reported to Yamaha support - mentioning it here on Motifator isn’t sufficient. |

I found it! the remixed patch was done after I split the drum tracks to their own tracks. so I was looking around patch 13 for the original when it was on patch 2. Thank you for your help 5pinDIN! |
