Is there an online listing of waveforms in the XF, or does anyone know which would be classified as Noise waveforms? Thx |

The XF Data List has all the internal Waveforms:
I’m not in front of my XF at the moment, but if you find the beginning of the Waveform listing in the PDF and search for “noise”, that should turn up a few which should qualify. |

Number 1708 is “Noise Burst”. Numbers 1449, 1556 through 1559, and 1676 through 1678, although not named “noise”, also have that sort of characteristic. Depending on the application, 1733, 1735, 1740, 1746, 1919 through 1926, and 2151 through 2154 might be useful. Many percussive sounds have a noise component to them, so shaping such Waveforms using filter envelopes might be useful, depending on the need. |
