Hello,

I have connected a mike to my XS8 (to one of the A/D Inputs) and now enjoy playing it and signing to it at the same time.

What I want to do now is to record all of the above but separate it into the following signals:

- stereo music signal from the MOTIF in Voice or Performance mode (stereo pair, left and right)
- voice - as a separate mono audio track

Is it even possible?  So far, I was only able to record a mixed signal (stereo music + mono voice) coming from the main outs.  There are those assignable L and R outs - is it possible to send the voice signal to one of them?

Thank in advance!

You’re welcome!

Yes, signal at the A/D INPUT can be routed to either the main or the assignable line outputs (or via FireWire if an FW16E is installed), and how effects are applied is also configurable.
