Hello Fellow Forum Members, I hope your weekend has been enjoyable so far :) I’m trying to record another original song that I know exactly how I want to record every part. When I try to record the different Sections in the Pattern Mode I get a message saying I’ve exceeded the Phrase limit. When I try to record it in the Song Mode, I get a message saying the Sequencer is full. At this point, here’s EXACTLY what I want to do: 1) Go to each Pattern from 5 to 10 and wipe out all data, all Phrases, all Sections, EVERYTHING, so I can start fresh and not get anymore messages saying “Sorry!!!!!” :) 2) Go to each Song from 5 to 10 and wipe out everything, EVERYTHING, so I won’t get anymore messages saying “Sorry!!!!” :) How do I do the above? Thanks, Jerry |

Have you tried this: Song Job --> Song [F6]--> 03:Clear Song As soon as you know you have recorded a SONG you do not want to keep, Clear it from the Sequencer to make room for new stuff and avoid the “Full†surprise. Page 96 MOXF Reference Manual ...from This Thread from a few days ago? ...or this:
04: Clear Pattern
...from page 111 of the same Manual? (be sure to STORE) |

Hi cmayhle :) Yes, I tried Clear Song and even went one step further and pressed Store. But that didn’t work :) 2) Is there a more direct method to delete ALL Phrases, all Sections, all of whatever it is that is using any of the precious finite data, from the Selected Pattern? Good to hear from you again :) Jerry |

I must not be explaining this right :) From my custom Performance, starting with ARP 1, I go to record the Into of the song. I press Record, select Pattern 10, Section A, Section Length 004 and hit Record. I play the part and press Stop and the Message says “Phrase Limit Exceeded”. So I go to Pattern, Job, Clear Pattern, check Chain and hit Enter. Am I sure, Yes. Enter and get message saying “No Data”, so I assume that is good :) Next I go to Job, Track, Clear Track, Clear Track Section A: TR01, hit Enter, Am I sure, Yes Enter. Next I go to Phrase, Track, Clear Phrase, Enter Clear Phrase 001, Enter Am I Sure? Yes Enter and I get Message “No Data” which again, I assume is good :) Next I hit Store, All Songs and Patterns, Enter, Am I sure? Yes Enter. So now I’m READY TO GO!!!!!!! I call up my Custom Performance, press Record, select Pattern 10, Section A, Section Length 004 and hit Record, play the part and press Stop AND get Message Phrase Limit Exceeded!!!! WTF : |
