Hey all,
I have a Motif ES8. Trying to edit a voice. Right now there are only 2 elements being used, 1 and 2. Elements 3 and 4 are both off. How do I simply copy element 1 into the element 3 slot, and copy element 2 to the 4 spot so that 1 and 3 are exactly the same...and 2 and 4 are exactly the same? Rather than re-create every parameter starting with the waveform...seems like a big waste of time when there’s probably an easy short cut way to do it. Any help?

Thanks

Press Job, then Copy. The top line should read “current” or set to the location of the voice you wish to edit. Scroll over to “Type” and with the data wheel set the upper “Type” to Element 1 and set the “Type” below that to Element 3. Hit Enter, then Yes. Repeat for Element 2. Store the Voice.

You’re welcome. A handy feature for sure.
