Is there a setting in Cubase 7 which allows users to change the layout of the score to display it one line instead of allowing me to scroll vertically downwards? I want to keep scrolling to the right, not scrolling down.

Hi Dily,

Firstly I dont have Cubase 7 but I have a lot of experience with score edit using Cubase 5.

Case 1 You want the score to scroll sideways when you use the scroll bars. ie score is not being played back.

i) View the score in edit mode NOT page mode.

ii) Reduce the vertical size of the window so only 1 staff is visible.

iii) Use lower scroll bar to scroll the score ‘sideways’ several bars at a time.

Case 2. You want the score to scroll sideways during playback.

i) Repeat steps i and ii above then switch on autoscroll, press play and Voila! 1 line of your score scroll past at a time in the narrow window frame.

This may not be exactly what you wanted but I hope it helps solve your problem.

Regards
