How do I get a license for Cubase AI 5 that I have with my Motif XF8?

1. Create a ‘my steinberg’ account, here:
Don’t start it.
3. Download the latest version of AI#, here:
Don’t install it yet. 4. Install Cubase. 5. Once Cubase has been installed, start it. 6. Create a Project, then close Cubase (goofy, I know, but bear with me). 7. Run the AI update downloaded in step 3. 8. Go to start -> All programs -> eLicenser -> start the control center 9. Write down the 20 digit code (sel number. Watch your zeros and O’s) to be used in step 10.
10. After you’ve created a ‘my steinberg’ account, take a at this link:

Thanks - it works !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And if I install a second / other Cubase on a second computer I have to assume the second account of @? Whether in the same account @? |

Correct. You can install it as many time as you wish, on as many PC’s. The only thing that changes is the SeL number (provided by the eLicenser software installed on each PC). The registration process isn’t tied to that version of Cubase, it’s tied to the SeL number/PC you install it to. This allows you to keep the CD, and simply repeat the process when moving on to a new computer. |
