I am considering moving to this keyboard. I currently have a S70XF… I could save some money by getting the MOX8 over the new one… Is that a bad idea?  Is the XF enough difference to warrant shelling out the extra money??

Only if you think that being able to LOAD and STORE new Sample data is useful!

There are several improvements in the MOXF over the MOX. However, whether they’re important to someone depends on how the MOX/MOXF will be used. Here’s a support article that should help with making the decision:

Also 128 voices vs. 64 voices is worth it IMHO even if you never use samples.
