I am trying to just do a simple recording. I want to record playing a song with the piano voice. THen just play it back and play a different voicing. I just can’t seem to do it..Can someone please help with step by step instruction.. I also have a Tyros 4 and it is very simple to do this but not having the same results with my MOXF8...thanks Ron

Go to Perform - Lakeside (USR1 (A10)) and set the piano sound how you want it.
Press the record button and set the Seq Mode to Song. Set the song number you wish to record onto.
Press F3(Other) and set Key On Start if required

Record your tune :) Press stop once complete and it will automatically switch to song mode.

While in Song Mode on your selected song number, hit record again and select Overdub and a new track. Change the voice to what you want .. press play and you can then record your new voicing :)
