Hi I am busy building my own voice with elements 1+2 active. Now I wish that I could switch from a situation where both elements are sounding at oce to where only one is sounding. As I understand it that’s what the assignable function buttons are for. My question is: where and how do i program the assignable function buttons? Can’t seem to find much in the manual about that. Please help and Thank you.

XA (eXpanded Articulation) Control is used.

See:

Also, I’ve attached a ZIP file. It unpacks to a 5-page DOC file where I detailed how the AF buttons affect Element usage in certain Preset Voices in the XS and XF. You could use that to find factory Voices to look at as examples of how to program yours. (See the Notes on page 5 of the DOC file to understand the tables.)

Thank you very much Spin that helped a lot. I missed the XA Control parameter below the element switch in elm edit window. Now free to create my own voices like a pro. :D

XS-XF AF1-AF2 Elements Ljust.zip

I’m trying to open it on the Mac…
looking around for my ‘file conversion’
The TextEdit.app is legible but not by much.
