I can create Patterns, A, B, C etc., and alternate between them using the INC/DEC buttons on the keyboard, but I’d like to switch between A, B and C using a foot pedal.

Can you explain how this is achieved?

I don’t think you can change the pattern section with foot controller command. However, you can do it with MIDI controller
